The best thing about being an American is that, to be one, all you have to do is be born here. That shit is in the Constitution. Only people born in the greatest country in the history of everything can be Americans. That’s what makes America so great. That and Skynyrd.
So that means that if you are a Mexican, you can’t be an American. If you are Japanese, nope, you can’t either. Same thing if you are British or Scottish. France? Hell, they’ve had 50 years and haven’t produced a single good rock song. No way any French person could be an American. I can’t believe we haven’t bombed those pussies.
Shit, we should make it a habit of invading some country of every ten years or so just so we can make sure we get to hear Lee Greenwood remind us of how fucking awesome we are.

Patriotism is nice. Sometimes necessary. It’s when you take it to levels of idiotism (like defending your country/government/right to use the rest of the world as shooting-range or dumpster) that it turns in to “White trash patriotism”.

I agree but I think a few white-trash stereotypes have been omitted, such as: liking: “wife beater” shirts, disassembled cars propped up on cement blocks on their lawn, wrestling,trailers,beer,mullets,laundry hanging out on a clothesline,country music,bingo,Wal-Mart,soap operas,monster trucks,darts and pool, tattoos,swearing,spitting,smoking,bar fights,racist jokes,etc…it’s a “culture” that has almost become an entity unto itself!
Don’t forget the logical next step in loving America…putting flags or ribbons on EVERYTHING you own. Or better yet, the dude who put the bumper sticker on his truck “Please don’t put my American flag on your foreign car”. Only rednecks can be patriotic ;)
