Seriously the Stuff White People Like blog is getting a million page views and nobody thought to pick up this blog name?
Well, we finally did. Imitation, flattery, etc.
Anyway, sorry if we offend. Oh wait. No we’re not. It’s stupid that white people can make fun of one class of white people, but not another. We’re not even going to claim that we’re either lower class or from rural and humble beginings, as if somehow it’s all copasetic because you are making fun of your kind.
We’re using stererotypes to make jokes and doing so under the premise that if you can do it for one group of people, you can do it for any group.
If you don’t agree, don’t hate us for being elitist. Hate us for not being funny. That’s really all we are trying to do, and if we fail at that, well then, we should be pelted with rocks and garbage for that failure.

maybe i should say sometimes funny but mostly not and not funny enough.
i don’t think it’s funny that some of my family had to drop out of school because they needed to work or lacked economic opportunities or weren’t the sharpest knife in the drawer. etc
i don’t think it’s funny to make a joke about putting white zin in a baby’s bottle.
it’s not funny to make a joke about people you don’t know at the expense of others.
Hell, I am just glad that ANYONE’s displaced those stupid “lolcatz” sites as the most popular blogs. Holy crap enough brain cells have died. At least there’s SOME thought process going on on this and the SWPL site.

Hey guys, just found your blog today. Haven’t read all the posts so far, I find a lot of it funny and some of it somewhat mean-spirited, but, I guess that’s b/c I’m from the South and (for better or for worse) still live here. I really really hated rednecks when I was a kid/teenager and was forced to go to school with them. Now that I’m older, and don’t have to be around them day in day out, I find them more amusing.
